In the near future, Google will enable 'Smart Reply,' an auto-reply service that will allow your email to generate its own responses. Google will use a form of artificial intelligence called 'deep learning' where the service will analyze the contents of an email and suggest a few brief phrases that can be clicked on as a response.

The goal for the service is that it allows for quick email responses while on the go, without having to open a new message. Smart Reply is targeted for increasing portion of the population who use their smartphones to check and send emails. The email suggestions will be tailored to both the tone and content of the message you are replying to. Once the system is implemented by users, it will continue to improve in quality and performance.
