Katie Holmes decided to merge the ancient wardrobe staple of Greece with the galactic fashions of the future when she appeared at the 13th annual Critics Choice Awards in LA this week.

The young actress was sporting a flashy silver toga by Lanvin which, by the look of the red soles, appears she paired the sparkling ensemble with Christian Louboutin heels.

Old meets new is one of the most popular design and fashion trends happening these days, but Katie took it to both extremes, and ending up looking smashing!
