Waiting rooms are one of the few places in which people are virtually guaranteed to be starved for content, and 'Silent Partner' is a piece of technology that capitalizes on that boredom. Silent Partner is an Internet-connected USB stick that automatically streams custom content for patients in dentists' waiting rooms, giving that willing audience a variety of content that will both inform them and increase the likelihood of a return visit.

Silent Partner comes loaded with oral and maxillofacial surgery content, including videos, testimonials, and digital signage. More than just a set list of content, though, the device connects to Wi-Fi, and PBHS, the company behind Silent Partner, updates what gets shown regularly. The system also connects to practices' social media accounts and shows positive testimonials that have gone up on those sites, such as a post or comment on Facebook.
