Though this Emily Alarm Clock will probably make your friends look at you funny, it is actually quite practical on several levels. Firstly, its side-mounted design allows users to view the time properly while lying down, which is a pretty sweet feature after a crazy night. Secondly, it also responds to the whole minimalism aesthetic, where people don’t want to have a lot of furniture. Typically a bedside table is necessary to place an alarm clock, but the Emily Alarm Clock simply mounts on the wall. It’s a small adjustment that makes a big difference. Better mousetrap, anyone?
