Clearly eco cars rule because of their friendliness to the earth, but this gallery of 28 green automobiles is proof there are also very beautiful models on the eco car market. Well, one of them is anyway, and the others are pretty darn cool.

I love the first car, called the Aptera 2e, due out in late 2009. The price is estimated to be between $25,000 to $45,000 per car, which is not bad for something so beautiful.

Unquestionably, the Chevrolet Volt wins best name, hands down.
