For the Shanghai World Expo 2010 the Dutch design team created 'Happy Street,' made to look like a street of apartments and buildings.

Designer John Kormeling wanted to play off the Shanghai World Expo theme of 'Better City, Better Life' when he created the 'Happy Street' design. Commenting on the interaction between city and rural living, as well as economic growth, the 'Happy Street' design is definitely a happy one.

Implications - If you don't believe me, check out the Dutch submission for yourself. The Shanghai World Expo is going to be putting a smile on the faces of many people fortunate enough to be attending the expo in person. For those not fortunate enough to do this, this collection of photos should put you in a pleasant mood!
