Seiko Debuts a Gradient Version of the 'Prospex SLA063'

Seiko has debuted a new gradient dive watch offering inspired by the beauty of the Northern Lights. The ‘Prospex 1970 Mechanical Diver’s Modern Re-Interpretation Limited Edition SLA063’ boasts a unique textured dial and a subtle gradient effect to reference the Aurora Borealis and the beautiful dancing waves of light seen in the sky. The watch is a rework of the timepiece worn by Naomi Uemura, also known as the first -person to summit the highest mountains on five continents.
The watch boasts a stainless steel case, Seiko’s ‘super hard’ coating, a blue dive bezel, and the sapphire crystal offers a dual curve and anti-reflective coating on the inside. The ‘Prospex’ is water resistant up to 200m and features a Caliber 8L35 with a silicone strap.
The Seiko ‘Prospex SLA063’ launches in October, priced at $3,100 USD.
