Using her body as a medium to express herself creatively, Laetitia KY creates sculptural hair designs on top of her head. The young fashion designer from the Ivory Coast says her fascination with hairdressing inspired her to create what she calls, hair art. Using hidden wires and fabrics, the artist is able to use her own hair as a sculptural medium, while its still attached to her scalp. The artist sculpts ballet dancers prancing a top her head, a hair-made hand which holds her phone as she takes a selfie and a blooming tree complete with leaves.
