There is a lot going on in the Schon! Magazine 'American Beauty' editorial despite the fact that it is shot entirely against a white backdrop. That is because the eccentric and eclectic nature of photoshoot owes itself purely to the outfits showcased throughout. As though channeling her own interpretation of a Harajuku girl, model Ashley Smith is decked on in vibrant layers of clothing that have are feminine with a punk edge.

Lensed by photographer Naomi Yang, the Schon! Magazine 'American Beauty' editorial is set to appear in issue 19 of the magazine. The American beauty was outfitted in a maximalist wardrobe by stylist Jessica Bobince. The looks were complemented with tousled locks by hairstylist Benoit Moeyaer and bold makeup by Chris Colbeck.
