After being spoofed by Tina Fey, we see the real Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live.  Not afraid to poke fun at herself, Saturday Night Live was able to recruit Sarah Palin to play herself.

Sarah Palin as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live has the potential to be one of the most viral comedic sketches of the year. After the tremendous success of Tina Fey as Sarah Palin on SNL, the Alaskan governor stepped up to the plate to poke fun at herself, from her hockey-mom mannerisms to her hunting state heritage.

In short there were two skits.  The first, at the beginning of the show was not terrible funny.  The second was a bit of an upgrade…

Thanks for the great advice Sixty, I didn't know we could post early. Seriously, I wrote it really early this morning and wrote a couple variations (one for if she parodied Fey and another if she did herself) -- but I didn't add it to my portfolio so it's too late. Still I'm sincerely happy for Bianca, all she has to do is add the video and Viola! :-)

What a bummer of a show, the writer's did a terrible job -- Not even Tina Fey made me laugh. I almost didn't make it through Weekend Update, which I usually love, because even that sucked but Sarah Palin showing up was a surprise and it was much better than the opening skit, but still not LMBO. :-(
