The 62nd Sapporo Snow Festival Attracts Thousands Worldwide

Sculptors from the world over came to Japan this year for the 62nd Sapporo Snow Festival. The designers utilized over 6,000 truck loads of snow to create magnificent buildings, portraits and cartoon-inspired sculptures to attract the countless amount of people to marvel at its wonder.

This year, there were approximately 250 sculptures, all thematic in their designs -- whether they are based off Japanese-inspired architecture, or literal Lion King renditions. Check out the featured link for more amazing pictures from the Sapporo Snow Festival.
