While most sangria recipes tend to be filled with fruity berries and delicious wine, this watermelon Sriracha sangria adds a spicy kick to the traditionally sweet summertime drink with the addition of the popular hot sauce.

The watermelon Srirarcha sangria recipe is featured in the Sriracha Cookbook written by Randy Clemens. To make this watermelon Sriracha sangria begin by cutting a seedless watermelon into cubes. Add the watermelon to a bottle of Pinot Grigio or a Sauvignon Blanc and ginger ale. Finish the sangria off with three tablespoons of Sriracha sauce, sugar and mint. Let the liquid sit and serve when cold for a deliciously spicy summertime beverage.

The recipe is a great example of infusing a popular product into an already well-established food and drink such as sangria.
