Smart Pot Tilts When Plant Is Thirsty - Roly-Poly Pot (GALLERY)

When a plant doesn’t get enough water, it wilts. Even with such an obvious sign, for some of us (including me) it’s still very difficult to keep the regular watering in mind. Me, I gave up long time ago the hope of being a plants good friend. All my houseplants had an early death. Sad.

But Samgmin Bae designer gave me hope again.

The 2007 Red Dot Award winner Roly-Poly Pot reminds us of watering by slowly tumbles over when the plant is thirsty thus reminding us of watering. In its round bottom there is a balance system that uses water that filters through the soil and a counterbalancing weight.

And even though the system can be adjusted to the plant you keep in the pot, you might not want to keep your cactus in one of these!
