There are a lot of situations where it is extremely dangerous for one person to help another. The threat is often too high in earthquake wreckage and bad car accidents. Now to assist humans in peril comes the Robocue, the lifesaver robot. The Robocue can be operated up to 100 meters away, and it has a conveyor belt so that the victim can get out of harm’s way. If the Robocue can operate in an emergency situation, it has the potential to save lives.  Of course, I can’t help but wonder what situation the Robocue could get into that a human could not do better. Sure, it may be able to enter a burning building without getting singed, but could it do it at a running speed? In other words, I’m not certain whether this Robocue would be up to the job in a real emergency.
