The fashion-hungry among us have eagerly been awaiting the new Roberto Cavalli collection to debut exclusively at Swedish design retailer, H&M. The collection won’t make it to stores until November, but to tie us over before the much anticipated launch, Liselotte Watkins has released some of the original sketches she did for the Cavalli line.
Any style savvy follower of fashion would recognize Cavalli’s signature details in the collection, particularly in the abundance of leopard prints.
Watkins was commissioned by design house Miu Miu to do their sketches in the past, increasing her a credibility as an incredibly talented artist in the fashion industry.
Indulge your ravenous appetite for all things stylish, and check out the gallery she did for the H&M/Cavalli media event in Paris!
Liselotte gets really personal with her characters and likes them all to be individuals with a personality. She says she "collect characters" by constantly studying people everywhere. Then when she draws she picks them out of her memory bank and thinks them up like real people with a life. And it's not always the most "beautiful" people who are the most interesting.
