The Retroid Pocket 3 Plus (RP3+) features an upgraded CPU, more RAM, larger storage, and more colorways than its predecessor, the RP3. The RP3+ is powered by the UNISOC Tiger T618 processor, which boasts 2x A75 cores at 2GHz and 6x A55 cores at 2GHz. This is a large upgrade from the quad-core processor in the RP3.
Aside from its processor, the RP3+ now includes 4GB of RAM, rather than the 2/3 included in the two RP3 models. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system and it has the Google Play store included. This means users can play nearly any mobile game, as well as the included games from Retroid Pocket, which are all integrated into the company's frontend launcher. The RP3+ is also long-lasting with its 4,500 mAh battery that results in roughly seven hours of battery life based on the workload.
The RP3+ is available now from Retroid Pocket at an MSRP of $149.00 USD. The device is expected to ship on November 18th, 2022.
