Inspired by Da Vinci’s views of the Foetus in the Womb, artist Kevin Tong imagined Super Mario‘s fetal period and much more of his world.

The only connection between Super Mario and Da Vinci, if we are to find one, is that they are both Italians(!). Still, the warm sepia shades and the soft-hand ink seam to go marvelously well together with our beloved…plumber.

The tee shirts are available to order from US and Europe for $20 and can be made for girls too, on demand.

If you’re not a fan of Mario, you’ll surely love the steaming iPhone drawing, Kevin Tong’s first project of the kind.
