This innovative art reforestation project will see a series of virtual trees growing on the Eiffel tower. The iconic Parisian structure will illuminate in green as part of an initiative to encourage reforestation achieved through a highly personalized way. People throughout the world will be asked to download the '1 Heart 1 Tree' app, where they will be asked to scan their own heartbeat. Once scanned, a virtual tree on the Eiffel tower will grow to the rhythm of your heart.
Participants will be able to watch their personalized virtual tree growing from the app which can be shared online. This innovative reforestation project uses technology and social media to its advantage in its promotion of an environmental initiative. The installation will be ongoing throughout the UN Climate Change Conference in December.
