Red Pop from Beep Industries is an innovative gadget that lets you take pictures from your iPhone without having to touch the little shutter icon. The device has a retro design that harks back to a simpler time in photography when lenses were big and dark rooms were huge.
Camera lenses are a lot smaller now and dark rooms aren't nearly as popular as they used to be. The iPhone has become the phone of choice for mobile shutterbugs, but even with all the recent tripods and lens attachments released for it, you still have to take a picture by pressing a button located on the screen.
That's where Red Pop from Beep Industries the gadget clips onto your iPhone and lets you point and shoot it like a real camera. Beep Industries has developed a working prototype of the Red Pop and has taken to Kickstarter to ask for help funding an initial production run. Seeing as how they're $2,000 away from their goal with more than a month to go, I'd say it's a safe bet that Red Pop will soon become a sought-after accessory by iPhone photogs.
