Recycled Parachute Fashion

[Edit]
The Raeburn 'Cold War' Collection|
UK designers Christopher and Graeme Raeburn have created a unique collection made from recycled parachutes and snow camouflage fabric from the Cold War era. The latter consists of a “snowy pines” fabric pattern. The army inspired designs are delicate and appear translucent, while the parachute parka jackets are lightweight and breezy. They come in different styles, from bomber jackets to a poncho cinched at the waist with a belt. Shorts, and even an apron dress are featured. The Raeburn brothers were educated at the Royal College of Art. Source: raeburndesign Via: inhabitat |
