I have a few nominations to test out this single-person rocket into space. A company is designing a teeny rocket that will fire the rider into the wild blue yonder and (hopefully) back again. Copenhagen Suborbitals made a stand-up rocket with a see-through nose cone called HEAT, or Hybrid Exo Atmospheric Transporter, and it can send a human into space at forces around 3g.  This is one of two upcoming craft from the Danish aerospace startup — the other vehicle will be the unmanned Hybrid Atmospheric Test Vehicle, a 1/3-scale sounding rocket that will test the company's new rocket engines. That motor is off to a good start, passing its first test earlier this week
