GQ last month defined Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses as “something from the Eighties worth remembering”. According to the review, nothing more original than Wayfarer can be found today in the sunglasses market even given the huge amount styles and shapes available. For sure these sunglasses are still in the celebrities’ favor, after January 2007 relaunch.
Since it's creation in 1952, Ray Ban's Wayfarer sunglasses have remained an essential piece of any respectable rock musician's wardrobe. The iconic, black plastic frames have graced the brows of Debbie Harry, Bob Dylan and the Killers, transcending fashion and music trends that came and went. Its design unchanged since the beginning, the original Wayfarers will be relaunched in spring/summer 07 as the centrepiece of Ray Ban's new collection, and will also be available in red and white for the first time.
