RaffleDog is a website that gives users free prizes through various weekly raffles. They have both local and national sponsors. Some of their past sponsors include Amazon and ThinkGeek.

RaffleDog claims to have to strings attached; they simply want to bring back the fun of raffling like in the good old days. To keep up the fun, RaffleDog records a raffle picked from a fishbowl and posts it live on their website.

Implications - This is the kind of novelty-based excitement I hoped more technologically advanced companies would invest in. As we continue our progression into the digital age, there is a fear we'll lose touch with some of the folksy elements that have been a big part of lives for generations.
