The Qminder App Virtually Holds Your Place in Line

Waiting in line may soon become a thing of the past thanks to the Qminder app. The Qminder app is a new app that virtually holds your spot in line.

The Qminder app comes from Estonia and recently won the Garage48 hackathon event in Tartu, Estonia. The app is designed to work with the iPhone, Android and Nokia handsets. Users simply download the app and take a virtual number from a business they want to visit. The app gives users a quoted wait time and a reminder when their turn in line is coming up. The app is still currently in beta testing, with no timetable on when it will be available to the masses or who would be participating. The Qminder app would be great for restaurants and barbershops where long waits for walk-ins are common.
