The Pulley Floor Lamp by Monocomplex Evokes a Sense of Tension

The Pulley Floor Lamp may be inspired by mechanics, but it also looks like it was inspired by a construction site. Envision a crane lifting a pipe and the reference will make absolute sense. Even the designers write, "This structure evokes a feeling of tension, as if the pulley is delivering a heavy thing to a high place." Full of character, this light fixture is unique even when compared to similar pulley lighting. The cylindrical shape of the lampshade is very atypical, especially in the way it distributes the light.

Created by Monocomplex, a design studio based in Seoul, Korea, the Pulley Floor Lamp is made out of walnut, two-tone steel and a red Teflon line. Stats for Lever System Lighting Trending: Older & Warm
