Credit Card Sleeve Hides Number

This is a pretty clever invention, and one that probably will be adopted by businesses as giveaways. It’s name is lame: Peek-a-Bye, but it’s purpose is great. It’s a opaque sleeve to put your credit card in but still allows your name and the last few digits of your card for I.D. The back of the sleeve is transparent so that your signature can be verified.

Implications - Consumers who have security concerns love products that offer them protection. Simple ideas such as the Peek-A-Bye manage to add a sense of security and display a level of intelligence. By protecting the consumer, the company creates a trust with them, generating word-of-mouth sales as the consumer will speak highly of the product.
