Stumptown Coffee recently teamed up with comedian Stephen Colbert to produce a cheeky promotional drink. While many celebrities have turned to endorsements as a means of promoting their work, this clever stunt comes with a refreshing twist.
To celebrate the premiere of 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,' Stumptown Coffee will hand out of a limited-edition cold brew adorned with Colbert's portrait. The 'Col’Brew' coffees not only feature a picture of the talented comedian, but also information about the new show. The promotional drink will only be available on September 8th, which is the date of the show's premiere.
While the collaboration may seem unusual, it is not the first time Colbert has teamed up with a food or beverage brand. The late-night funnyman has previously endorsed products such as Kraft's Wheat Thins and a variety of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
