The Prometheo Uno is a fire table that is designed with minimal themes by Andrés Monnier and it is set to join the ongoing Olympo collection. According to the designer, he has aimed to create sculptural looks that blend together art and design to tell a narrative behind the looks.
To do so, he uses a range of artful methods and now his works include two collections along with works that are showcased across the world. Named after Greek Mythology, the inspiration stems from a titan named Prometheus, who stole fire from Mount Olympus and provided that to mankind. From fire came power, independence, and wisdom. The table is designed to capture where the fire first appeared to mankind, on a stone.
