Prime Pantry is an extension of Amazon's Prime services, which is purported to make grocery shopping all the more convenient. Like ordering a book online, people will be able to choose household products and food up to 45 pounds that will ship straight to one's doorstep for only an additional $5.99. That can be likened to the cost of gas, public transit or even a taxi.

Through the Prime Pantry service, people will be able to save a good chunk of precious time to allocate towards something else. Whether that is quality time with the family, at the gym or perhaps wrapping up an important work project, grocery shopping will never have to get in the way again. Nor will it go to the waste side.
