Primark, a major U.K. thrift department store isn’t letting low prices dictate low fashion. They have some really cute outfits with a definite nautical theme in their Spring 2008 collection. As far as thrift, in the U.K. younger people are turning to thrift shopping online. This shows that fashionistas can have a real impact on their look without killing the bank account. "Online sites can learn valuable lessons from the high street where the 'Primark generation' has turned its back on expensive designer labels and instead is hunting for bargain offers," said Richard Sheppard, vice president at Coremetrics. Contrary to popular opinion, younger people are the most thrifty when it comes to shopping online, a new survey has revealed. Over three-quarters of 18 to 24-year-olds said price was their top priority when shopping online, scoring it higher than brand affinity in a survey by web analytics firm Coremetrics. (catwalkqueen)

Ye, this is a really popular fast fashion retailer in the UK. Although, the prices are so low and the turnover so fast, it has caused people to worry over how ethical their manufacture/factories are and how much their workers are paid.
