This pregnancy-monitoring app lets pregnant women keep track of a baby's health during the vital final stages pregnancy and giving birth.

Conventionally, doctors administer a Non-Stress Test (NST) to women in the final stages of a high-risk pregnancy to monitor the health of the fetus during the final trimester. This test includes being wired up to equipment to determine whether the baby's heartbeat and movement is normal. In a high-risk situation, medical professionals require that this be done a few times in the last couple weeks of the pregnancy.

At the Apple Keynote, Apple released the pregnancy-monitoring app 'Airstrip.' The fetus-monitoring app is integrated with the Apple watch to gather information for an NST and send that information to the doctor. With monitoring technology to watch the health of pregnant women and their children, this is one of the most dynamic innovations using smartwatch technology.
