The Power Shoulder Chair by Jongho Park Seems to be Walking on Eggshells

The Power Shoulder chair brings to mind spiders and ballerinas, two things that I never thought would ever compare to each other. Although it’s the pointy-toed legs that bring these similarities to mind, this design was not inspired by either; instead, it’s based on the power suit jacket of the 80s.

Designed by Jongho Park, the Power Shoulder chair relies on key features of the retro fashion piece. According to Plus Mood, it focuses on “exaggerated emphasis, chic style, sophisticated line and understated angles.”
