PowderRoom is Expanding to Include Product Co-Creation

PowderRoom is a South Korean social beauty platform. Founded in 2003, it now fosters 4.4 monthly users. The K-beauty content platform is expanding its business to include e-commerce and product co-creation options. These digital opportunities will allow users to share reviews, view content, and follow groups of users with similar beauty profiles.

The e-commerce expansion consists of an application where shoppers can purchase products and access beauty-focused content in one convenient location. To encourage content creation, the brand has a rewards system in place. Chief Strategy Officer of PowderRoom, Ho-Jin Song, expressed that the company is exploring various e-commerce models such as group buying and live commerce.

PowderRoom continues its new brand development venture to power co-creation following the success of its first collection, 'Hi, I'm Yours,' launched in 2020.
