When your plants need watering, this vase lets you know. Created by Japanese designer Risako Matsumoto, Water Balance is a vase structure that lets you know when your plants need watering by tipping over automatically; this design debuted at iSaloni this season as part of product design project Design Soil.

This modern and very simple design is not only practical but it will also go well with most home decor. The wooden construction has two stainless steel pieces with a vial placed on one side, and a sliding weight placed on the other side. The design maintains a perfect balance until the plant is dry and in need of watering; it then tips letting you know that it’s time to give your plant some water. This minimalistic design is a wonderful piece that will keep both you and your plants happy. Stats for Tipping Notifying Plant Vases Trending: Older & Mild
