The Plane Draped Table may look like it is made out of a drab piece of fabric, but it is in fact fashioned out of concrete thanks to the invention of 3D printing. In spite of its lackluster coloring, the furniture piece is visually striking. This, of course, it due entirely to the texture and form that it takes on beautifully.

Designed by Sruli Recht, a designer based in Reykjavík, Iceland, the Plane Draped Table is also a bit of a performance piece. It was originally created on site during a special four day event hosted by Darklands Berlin. In this way, people were able to fully appreciate just how the Plane Draped Table was born.
