Umbrella Photo Browser - Enjoy Pixelated Rain Drops

In 2006, we introduced you to the Pileus umbrella, which lets you showcase your photos directly from Flickr.  The umbrella is back circulating the blogosphere.  We’re not sure if that means the umbrella is getting closer to production, but that would be pretty cool.

I remember visiting the local planetarium as a child. You know, the giant-domed shaped ceiling with shooting stars and exploding supernovas. This new umbrella reminds me of those visits. Made by Pileus, this umbrella allows the user to snap photos and view them from underneath or upload them to Flickr via a wireless internet connection. They also have GPS and a digital compass.
