Pillow by Snarkitecture, a New York-based design firm founded by architect Alex Mustonen and contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, is an unorthodox dock for smartphones. First of all, it looks like a soft cushion, hence its name, yet it is made out of cement. The deceptiveness nevertheless doesn't make it more common. Instead, the resting surface provided is quite simple and devoid of any frills and thrills, which is also quite uncommon these days.
All Pillow by Snarkitecture does boast, aside from the convenient shape up top, is a groove below for the charging cord to slip into neatly when the smartphone is being charged. Made out of gypsum cement, it is the first of a larger line.
