This is the Givori Nefertiti mobile phone. It’s essentially a Nokia-style cell phone covered with 24 carat gold and crystals. Only 50 were made, so not much chance you’ll ever see this phone again. Perhaps that’s a good thing.

I’ve only seen a phone like this once. A person had a horrible case of stomach flu and was making a call to the doctor. Her phone resembled this in the middle of her call. But her phone didn’t cost $4,400 because it was covered with gold and crystals. Her phone was covered with her cheeseburger lunch.

Those are the ugliest phones I have ever seen. They look completely barnacle laden -- if you took out the batteries, they could be used to revive the barrier reef! :-)
