 Intimate Views by Tim Flack Tim Flack’s portfolio of photography is astonishing. He captures stunning images of animals using unexpected perspectives and extreme close-up points of view. Flack’s photos of bats are genius, he actually makes them look.. cute… in a way. There is a sense of actually ‘experiencing’ the creatures in his art. His Equus Project is a collection of horse portraits that are beyond beautiful. I only wish I could have posted many more photos.  Tim Flack’s bestiary evokes pathos, humour and an unmistakably intimate human empathy. Not only do we begin to find supposedly repellent creatures charming, but discover a sympathetic vulnerability, an unexpected lightness and humour in their gestures and attitudes, as if putting on a performance for our benefit in a readily accessible comedy of manners all their own.
