Spotify partnered with Withings to create the unique 'Aura Connected Alarm Clock,' an app that creates a personalized playlist for each user. The idea for this app is to allow users to fall asleep and wake up to music that will enhance their mood based on personal preferences.

The app is geared towards music lovers who rely on tunes to help them fall asleep as well as start their day off right. In order to create a personalized playlist, the user will set their alarm and select recommended songs through the Spotify Connect platform. Each of the "custom-made recommendations take into account the user's music preferences and use aggregated data from its Aura Sleep Sensor."

Using Spotify's song database -- which is filled with over 30 million tunes -- this app collects and distributes custom selections for each user. Using this platform will not only allow users to feel more connected to the brand but will also increase the usage of music platforms and boost individual energy levels.
