A pencil iPhone stand. How brilliant is this invention? I love it. And it is such a simple DIY invention, anyone can make one. All you need are five pencils and four elastic bands, et voila—your very own iPhone stand.
And, as featured above, you can use your iPhone stand to watch a live presidential inauguration from your desktop without holding your phone in your hand. That is all it takes! It’s almost like having your own flat-screen cinema. Okay, not quite.
But although the iPhone stand is extremely geeky and not the most luxurious gadget in the world, it is such a basic bit of DIY-ing it is almost genius. Now that is what I love about it.
