New York-based creator Joe Doucet launches a collection of patterned rug designs that dedicates its colorful and geometric appearance to the movement for equality. In collaboration with American firm Odabashian, the rugs are handmade and in support of the Transgender community worldwide.
Employing visual language and the transcendental capacities of good design, Joe Doucet is successful in communicating unity, diversity and pride with the four-piece collection. The theme embraces "the beauty outwardly [that becomes] what you are internally." The patterned rug designs boast clashing color palettes, as well as a harmonized black & white carpet that conveys the message of being at peace with one's self.
A portion of the sale proceeds of these uplifting and captivating patterned rug designs will go toward ACLU.
