West Hollywood is modernizing the mundane task of parking a vehicle with an automated parking garage that uses robots to perfectly position each car into spots. The carport -- dubbed the Automated Garage and Community Plaza -- is built to hold up to 200 vehicles and provide a space-saving solution that is more ecological for the area.

The Automated Garage is specially designed to be efficient in structure as well as function with robots that park and fetch cars for drivers. Since the entire process is automated, the garage eliminates the need for ramps leaving space for an additional community centre. The carport also reduces overall carbon dioxide emissions thanks to the robots being more efficient with the parking, taking only one try to get the vehicle perfectly in the spot.
