Paper fashion isn’t just for your childhood paper dolls anymore—real life people are downing duds made of paper, from recycled newspapers to the firm-papered, crisp white origami number featured in the photo gallery above.

This photo shoot by James Kachan also features model Ariana wearing gold paper dresses craftily created by Chris Nevin. The shoot, described as, “a girl who lives in a store and makes her dresses out of things she finds,” was photographed at the iconic Drake General Store in the Drake Hotel in Toronto.
