Stools are often thought of as rather simple pieces of furniture that are generally fixed in form and designed to serve one primary purpose. The pAnco Stool is quite different from your typical example, embodying a flexible form and offering versatility in use.
The Scoope Design product is composed of a pair of separate frames. Each one has a set of U-bend metal tubes that become two legs each, and a single horizontal rod joins them. The two hurdle-like components are connected only by a short length of fabric, enabling you to pull them apart and push them together within the limits of the cloth's elasticity.
With the frames generously spaced, the pAnco Stool makes for a comfy chair. Narrow the gap or even stack them and you'll have an effective book and magazine rack.
