Electronic manufacturer Panasonic have released their latest picture-taking contraption the Panasonic Lumix TS3. This rugged-looking photo taker is the fully loaded model and is an outdoor enthusiasts' dream.

The Panasonic Lumix TS3 features 12.3 megapixel photo quality, a rugged weatherproof frame, the ability to take 3D photos and record HD video, alongside a compass/altimeter/barometer and built-in GPS. Yup, it's the real deal.

Implications - Consumers want both functionality and form when it comes to a purchase that they are going to have for a while. A product that combines multiple functions and is visual compelling is highly desirable for consumers that aren't sensitive to price. Companies should focus on this group and offer products that are well designed and serve many purposes.
