Lace bunny and mouse ears seem to be all the rage, as demonstrated by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen at the Opening Ceremony flagship store opening in Japan. The twins are not the first to sport the lacy headgear by Maison Michel. Lady Gaga has been seen in her own rabbit ears in recent past.

I’m not completely sure what the fashion statement means. Perhaps they are gearing up for Halloween. Maybe they are inspired by Lady Gaga’s wackiness—think public fangs. Or maybe this is just the beginning of the latest trend in accessories.
