Spotify is currently trialing a new update that is dubbed Your Offline Mix, which automatically downloads users' favorite songs as a backup in case there is a lack of internet.
In a new tweet by the platform's CEO Daniel Ek, it is explained that this playlist will be curated by selecting the music that users recently listen to and providing them with a playlist of songs that are ready-made to enjoy during times with poor connectivity or on a flight. The new feature is described as "a mix of your recently played songs for when the vibe is high, but your connection is low.” Although songs can still be downloaded, this is an option that does not require manual work.
