Nadya Suleman, the woman who gave birth to octuplets through in vitro fertilization on January 29th, 2009, has set up a website asking the public for online donations to support her extensive family of fourteen children.
The 33-year-old woman had given birth to six children before having the in vitro fertilization procedure done. This fact has unleashed a great deal of controversy throughout the United States. Some people opining that it was irresponsible of Nadya Suleman to want to add octuplets to her already-extensive brood, while others say that Suleman is free to make her own choices.
