Inveno Design Studio's Octopus Lamp Looks Like a Cute Robot

The Octopus lamp has an adorable robotic presence to it. In fact, it looks like a character model for a new Pixar film. Yet it is a lot more practical than simply an artistic mold for a movie. This light fixture offers a futuristic touch for homes and offices, illuminating the darkest corners in a sleek and stylish manner.
Designed by Inveno Design Studio for manufacturer EXX Stone, the Octopus lamp is part of its 2011 collection. Completely made out of DuPont Corian, it features different colored LED lights such as red, blue and yellow. Full of personality and character despite its relatively minimalist design, the Octopus lamp is available in two forms, as a table light fixture and a floor light fixture.
Although a sophisticated design, the Octopus lamp is quite playful in the end.
